Important Update for the UK Chemical Export Industry
Submit your GB PIC Notifications Now to Ensure Smooth Exports in 2025!
To help you navigate the regulatory landscape and avoid any disruptions, we want to share essential information from the Prior Informed Consent (PIC) Designated National Authority (DNA) for Great Britain regarding the export of chemicals listed in the GB PIC List for 2025.
The PIC Regulation requires that the first export of a listed chemical each year must be notified to the DNA at least 35 days before the intended date of export. This requirement also includes exports from GB to Northern Ireland.
Companies are now invited to submit these notifications for 2025 in order to allow for sufficient time to process the applications and ensure continuity of trade.
