The company was originally founded in 1993 by Heinz Werner Dobbertin as a service company for safety data sheets. In 1997, the company was converted into a GmbH (limited liability company) and from this point on was known as C.S.B. GmbH (Chemistry - Safety - Consulting). Due to the acquisition of new customers and an increasing demand for safety data sheets the C.S.B. GmbH got its first growth in 2000.
In the following years the business has grown steadily, solely through customer recommendations (of which we are very proud). Further employees joined us and built up and shaped the present Safety Data Sheet department. With the coming into force of the EU regulation 1907/2006, better known as REACH, a new business field was opened up in 2007. Through a clever acquisition of employees at the responsible German authority, the appropriate know-how was provided at that time, which has been maintained until today and in the meantime significantly expanded.
The course was set for continued growth, which is why the workforce grew steadily in the following years. Today we have about 20 employees and support our customers primarily in the areas of safety data sheets, REACH and biocides and are also available as contact persons in related areas. Together we stand for a high quality of our services, made possible by well-founded professional competence combined with many years of experience.
In spring 2017 Lars Dobbertin followd his father Heinz Werner Dobbertin as managing director.
